Portsmouth (11 miles south) offers many unique small shops in the downtown area. Just west in Newington are two mall complexes, Christmas Tree Shop, TJMaxx, Marshalls, Macy’s, Sears, JCPenney, Home Goods, BJs, Walmart and more.
Wells (14 miles north) large clustering of antique shops and a couple of book dealers, a towel and bedding factory outlet, Reny’s (a Maine experience).
